Paula Snow
Paula Snow is a writer and storyteller who has lived in the Kootenay Mountains for the past 40 years. Born in New York City, Paula Snow has lived in in the Kootenay Mountains for the last 40 years. She has written stories all her life. After she studied creative writing at Selkirk College in 2018, she has written steadily, and published some. Her diverse background includes cooking in remote camps, riding freight trains around the USA and Canada, business consulting and management, and creating a small permaculture paradise. She currently resides along the shore of Kootenay Lake in the new settlement of Pilot Bay, where her current novel is set. Her published stories include “The Man with the Golden Horn” (Black Bear Press), “The Storm” (Black Bear Press), and “Night Rules” (Musepaper). An autobiographical essay titled “Settling Down” will be included in the Dancing on Mountains Anthology (Caitlin Press), set to release sometime in 2024.
